1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Aidana, an AI-powered report generation platform
operated by Frostgate AS ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in Norway.
By creating an account or using Aidana, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree,
do not use the service.
2. Service Description
Aidana provides a platform for generating reports using AI language models. The service includes:
- AI-assisted report generation from user-provided documents and instructions
- Workspace management with client-side encryption
- Configurable AI agents for specialized report types
- Team collaboration through organizations
The service is provided "as is". AI-generated content may contain errors and should be reviewed by
qualified professionals before use in any decision-making process.
3. Account Responsibilities
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Aidana to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or discriminatory
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits, security measures, or access controls
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service
- Use automated means to access the service in a way that exceeds reasonable use
- Transmit malware, viruses, or any other harmful code
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
5. Intellectual Property
Your Content
You retain full ownership of all documents you upload, instructions you provide, and reports generated
through Aidana. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.
Our Service
The Aidana platform, including its software, design, and branding, is the intellectual property of
Frostgate AS. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use our trademarks, logos, or branding.
6. Subscription and Payment
Certain features of Aidana require a paid subscription. Payment terms are as follows:
- Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Payments are processed by Polar.sh. By subscribing, you also agree to Polar's terms of service.
7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Reports and content generated by Aidana are produced by third-party AI language models. While we strive
to provide useful and accurate outputs:
- AI-generated content may contain factual errors, omissions, or biases.
- Generated reports should not be treated as professional advice (legal, financial, medical, or otherwise).
- You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and validating all generated content before use.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any generated output.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Frostgate AS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive
damages arising from your use of Aidana.
- Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount
you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from reliance on AI-generated content.
- We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or service interruptions caused by circumstances
beyond our reasonable control.
9. Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the General Data Protection Regulation
(GDPR). By using Aidana, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.
10. Termination
- You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from your account settings or by contacting us.
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice.
- Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.
- You may export your data before termination using the data export feature in your account settings.
- We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and data retention schedule.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through
a notice in the application at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of Aidana after
changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway.
Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive
jurisdiction of the courts of Norway.
